I finally got around to making a banner of my own!!!
I have been meaning to do so ever since I made this website. To be honest, I was kinda clueless on how to even go about making one.
I tried using Aesprite to make one from scratch but always ended up staring at my screen for hours.
But yesterday, I happen to somehow stumble upon datakrash’s tool.
it made it the process soooo easy. 😭
plus i get to use soojin’s pic :D
anywho, after getting the base banner done for there
- i imported it to aesprite
- copied the banner to 24 frames
- started removing pixels from each letter (i actually did maths for this to make sure the letters erode consistantly instead of being completely random)
- added the smol music note, cause it felt empty.
- exported the project as GIF
- BOOM i have a banner now :D
