do you ever feel like not talking at all?

i feel like that a lot. but it’s hard to do so in an asian family. i gotta run errands for my parent every now and then. don’t get me wrong i dont hate it. i happily do it most of the times. but me not acknowledging that i’m working on their errand always gets interpretted as me being rude and not willing to do it by them. which obviously results in me being bashed lol and them getting upset.

likewise when i have classes, i need to interact with people. if i try to not interact, i get asked “r u ok, dude?”, “is sth bugging u?” or “r u mad at me?”. i appreciate the concern but nahhh, dawg, i’m just tryna enjoy my peace 😭.

i’m wish i find a partner who would be comfy with me not wanting to interact sometimes. cause if i can’t, i might in a bit of pickle… 😬
